What Will You Do Differently In 2008?

It's me with an important PSA.

It doesn't matter whether you feel 2007 was terrific or terrible, it's GONE. There's nothing you can do about it. There's nothing you can do to change any of it. It's the past. And that means it's history.

So, the only thing to do is make this moment...today...and tomorrow, what you want.

What are you going to DO differently this year? I'll start us off.

I'm going to blog! Not only is blogging a wonderful way to stay connected but it's also a great business tool. So, that's one of the things I'll do differently. And I want you to hold me accountable for that. Unless I'm stranded in the Rockies with no phone or computer, I have no excuses. Period.

Now, I will take a self-imposed absence from blogging when I go on vacation but I'm sure you'll give me an excused absence for that, right? Otherwise, I'll be right here nearly every day with questions, insights and answers to energize your day.

Got Dreams?

Hey Everyone!

Today I launch my blog, Franergy and today WE honor a great humanitarian, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. His vision along with those like him changed the course of our nation. We'll never forget his blood, sweat and tears. We honor him by continuing to fight for the liberties we all deserve. Thank you, Dr. King. Your living was not in vain!

If Dr. King were here, I believe he'd still be asking us this question: What's your dream?

What dreams do you have? What incredible gift are you planning to give the world this year?

I'll share one of mine.

In December 2007, I gave birth to Collegepreneur magazine - the world's FIRST business magazine for college students. It is my dream to inspire every person - young or veteran - to pursue their passion but especially young people who will be the stewards once we're gone. That's what entrepreneurship's about. Not just business success but also political, social, community, environmental and spiritual renewal and innovation.

I call Collegepreneur my "Billion Dollar Baby" and through this magazine and my other business and philanthropic endeavors, Dr. King's legacy lives on...and my own legacy continues.

What's your dream? Don't hold back! I want to see you realize that dream!
