What is an Entrepreneur?
Many
definitions. Ask 10 people you're likely to get 9.5 different answers
primarily because an entrepreneur encompasses so many qualities and
traits. CP's believes that an entrepreneur is a
person who organizes, operates, and assumes the risk for a business,
social or community endeavor. The venture could be profit based or it
could be that you are championing a great cause such as stopping world
hunger.
Basically if someone seeks to innovate, change, shift and/or enhance the status quo, we'd consider that entrepreneurship.
At
the heart of Collegepreneur's mission is the desire to communicate to
the world that the only way to truly affect change is through
entrepreneurship. We believe entrepreneurs are everywhere -- in
corporations, in churches, in schools and certainly in global
enterprise.
The litmus test for entrepreneurship is simple: do
you have the desire to make things better or different and if so, are you
willing to actively participate in the transformation? Then you're an
entrepreneur!
